THE THURSDAY PROBLEM
Two people say yes, one goes quiet, one drops out at five o'clock, and somebody ends up €36 down asking friends for money for the next week. Court-booking apps solved the court. Nobody solved the four people, until padelfin. Book as usual, forward the confirmation, and the game builds itself.
WHY IT WORKS
See open games in your area with spots left, at courts you can actually get to. Tap once to take a place — no introduction, no negotiation.
padelfin rates every player 10–100 from actual match results, not self-assessment. You get games that are competitive, not games where you are the weakest or the strongest by a mile.
You pay your share when you join, not in a Bizum three days later. Nobody fronts the whole court and nobody has to chase anybody.
A Pod is your standing group — the people you keep playing with. Join one and games start finding you instead of the other way round.
Every player carries a Fin Score built from three things: showing up, paying their share, and being good company. Flakes are visible before you commit an evening to them.
Moving, travelling or just new to the area? Your level and your record travel with you, so you can be in a decent game within days rather than months.
GETTING STARTED
Two minutes of setup: roughly how you play, and when you are usually free. You can skip the number entirely if you just play socially.
Take an open spot in a one-off game, or join a Pod if you want a group that plays every week.
Your share is taken when you join. You get the address, the time and a reminder — then you just play.
QUESTIONS
No — that is rather the point. You can join an open game as a single player, and most people find their regular group that way within a few weeks.
No. Level matching is the core of how games are formed, and the scale starts at 10 rather than zero precisely so beginners are placed, not judged. You can also mark yourself as social rather than competitive.
The app is free to use. When you join a paid game you pay your share of the court plus a small service fee — usually well under a euro on a normal game.
You are refunded automatically. padelfin has processed cancellations and full-game refunds cleanly since launch, without a single chargeback.
